Vampires are SO in right now.

On Monday when I picked up Linus at daycare, I was presented with a happy, smelly baby--and an accident report.

Kids were playing when another child bit Linus by accident on his left arm.

First aid or staff action / primeros auxilios o accion tomada:
Washed with water and soap and applied an ice pack.

POOR LITTLE BEAR!!

He has a bruise on his forearm that is very distinctly in the shape of a mouth. A perfectly round, tiny baby mouth. It was pretty red for the first couple of days, but it's starting to fade now. He's also been extremely happy, so he must have exacted revenge in the form of stealing a toy or something equally as diabolical. Linus's teachers felt really awful about the bite, but stuff like this is bound to happen in daycare. I just thought it wouldn't happen until he was, you know, in a class where the majority of kids had teeth.

Tomorrow is the big surgery day! Keep your fingers crossed for smooth sailing. An update will be posted tomorrow night.

*Only kidding. I'm pretty sure that the day will come when Linus is the biter and not the bitee.
